Join us in a Thanksgiving concert of classical chamber music with Christina Wright-Ivanova on piano, Egle Jarkova , violin, and Aristides Rivas , cello. 

Lithuanian-born violinist Egle Jarkova is the founder and director of the International Summer Music School Vivace Vilnius in Lithuania, runs a large private teaching studio in Boston and performs regularly solo, chamber music and with many of New England’s preeminent orchestras. Ms. Jarkova is on violin and chamber music faculty at the Brookline Music School where she is also a string department chair. Winner of many international music competitions and laureate of the prestigious “Queen Morta“ Prize, Ms. Jarkova is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory and Boston University. 

Grammy nominated Venezuelan-born cellist Aristides Rivas leads a versatile career as a multi-genre cellist, educator, and public speaker. He is a founding member of the fusion world music band Voci Angelica Trio. Rivas has performed at a wide range of international music venues and a cello faculty at California Baptist University. 

Christina Wright-Ivanova is currently Associate Professor of Music and Coordinator of Keyboard Studies at Keene State College. She serves as the Interim Artistic Director for the Redfern Arts Center and for the past nine years, she has been serving as the Artistic Director for the North End Music & Performing Arts Winter Concert Series. She recently joined the faculty at the New England Conservatory in Boston.

Light refreshments will be available at the conclusion of the concert.
