In this art workshop run by "Pop Up Art School", participants will learn how to fold origami and create stunning origami Kusudama flowers out of old book pages. Personalize your flowers with a selection of beads and sequins. Bring them to life with a stem that delicately balances the flowers.
Kusudama flowers, a modular type of origami, are crafted from individually folded pieces of paper, before being assembled together. Get to know a bit about the history of this origami style and explore a slideshow showcasing various ways to use them.
This workshop is for adults. Registration will be initially restricted to Amherst Town Library cardholders only. One week prior, if space is available, registration will open up to anyone.
