In collaboration with the Amherst Garden Club's "Side Shoots" program, we will be hosting a virtual demonstration on how to make a succulent pumpkin centerpiece. Upon registration, you will be provided with a materials list so that you can purchase the supplies needed, and then join us virtually to put it all together. It could be a whole family event or something special that you do with a child. We think you will have fun going to the local garden centers to pick out your succulents. These pumpkins can last a long time and the succulent plants will root right on top of the pumpkin! When you are ready you can cut the top off the pumpkin and plant it in a large pot, where it will continue to grow.
