Join the Souhegan High School World Studies Honors students as they present their research project on the value of cultural studies. This presentation will outline the key components of culture through historical and sociological lenses. Students will share their research questions and the information they have gathered in this important subject. Special emphasis will be given to the clash of cultures and what factors have contributed to cultural assimilation and when cultures have been able to circumvent this issue and retain their own value and uniqueness. Student case studies will cross historical eras in the world and offer examples through lifestyle, progress and technology.
