Join us for a panel presentation on food waste diversion initiatives. Anaerobic digestion through the transfer station and composting at home is a great way to do something positive for the environment and reduce the town's waste costs. Learn about the new Amherst Transfer station food diversion program that kicks off Feb 2nd and learn about composting at home and in the garden. You will also hear success stories about food waste diversion initiatives that are ongoing at the Hollis transfer station and elementary schools.
