Join Brandie Pettus, Visual Arts Teacher at AMS for an inspiring and interactive talk as she shares her journey through two unique artist in residency (AIR) programs she participated in this past summer. She'll take you behind the scenes of the application process, explain the responsibilities and expectations of an AIR, and compare the distinct environments and cultures of the two residencies she experienced.

Discover how these experiences influenced her art and teaching practice and creative process. She'll share highlights of her work created during residencies and demonstrate an exciting printmaking technique called Gelli printing.
