The Book Buddies Literacy Program is designed to foster a love of reading among young children through a structured, engaging, and supportive read-aloud experience. The program pairs children in grades 1 through 4 with high school student mentors, known as “Big Buddies”.  Little Buddies have the opportunity to read books of their choice, or be read to, during a 30 minute time block.
