Growing up in the very artistic Cronin household, I picked up a few tips along the way. Later, I participated in classes at the Wyman School of Art and took art history and art appreciation at the University of Maine Orono. After retiring from teaching modern languages, I began painting with acrylics and watercolors. Recently, I’ve had solo shows and participated in gallery events in Sarasota, Bradenton, and Venice, FL. I now have many watercolor pieces at several shops and galleries near Amherst, as well as online. I appreciate all kinds of art. Coming from parents who were/are incredible designers and watercolorists, I’ve always liked trying out my version of landscapes and a still life once in a while. It’s all about nature, ever-changing and fascinating!
