Armchair Travel to New Zealand (Virtual)
Tuesday, February 102:00—3:00 PMZoom

Cruise the countryside with Jack Holmes, the Traveling Photographer, as he tours the North and South Island of New Zealand. The country is a far and distant place filled with beautiful scenery and interesting history. On New Zealand’s North Island, visit Hobbit Town, volcanic hot springs and geysers at a Māori cultural center. The South Island is wilder with amazing scenery and National Parks. (This region has both sheep and penguins!) Then explore Doubtful Sound Fjord, visit an Antarctica training center, gold rush towns, and the earthquake damaged Christchurch. Holmes is the owner of "Images From Near and Far" at Western Avenue Studios in Lowell. A retired high school teacher, he previously served as President of the Greater Lynn Photographic Association and Gallery Manager of the Loading Dock Gallery in Lowell.
