Thursday, March 147:00—8:15 PMLower Level- Johnson Meeting RoomAmherst Town Library14 Main Street, Amherst, NH, 03031

How can we help turtles, toads, frogs and salamanders in our gardens and neighborhoods? Learn simple ways to help these native animals in our local area including backyards, natural areas around town, and on the roadways. The Turtle Rescue League has met with speaker Christine Clements and shared many helpful resources anyone can use to help turtles.

Christine is an Amherst Garden Club member and UNH Master Gardener Intern, with a focus on both gardening for wildlife and youth nature programming. She has a background in environmental chemistry and has been gardening in NH for over 25 years. Christine brings enthusiasm for our native plants and animals, and practical tips for sustainable landscapes in our area. She has a life-long interest in wildlife, and has helped more than a few turtles cross the road to safety.

Please join us to learn more about these important creatures, and how we can help them survive and thrive in our environment.

This series is co-sponsored with The Amherst Garden Club.
